Would you have any idea why the above doesn't work with WP 3.0. It just outputs nothing for everyone, logged in or not.

That wouldn't have worked with WP 2.9 either.

Afraid if you want to user Wp3.0 then you will need to upgrade to our latest version 4.3.1

I am using 4.3.1 and that did work with 2.9, it was great! I really miss it! I realise I'm in the wrong forum, but I just thought it was better to continue it on here, I did start a topic on this in the 4.3 forum but damned if I can find it.

Well that might be better so we get this in the right place. SP 4.3.1 will not function correctly in WP 2.9. If nothing else it calls functions that do not exist in WP 2.9.

What I seem to be missing here is what the problem is exactly. I don't think you have actually said. And 'Form buttons in my theme files' – the title of this topic – doesn't explain it either.

The problem is the above code doesn't work with WP 3.0 and simplepress 4.3. It did work with up to wordpress 2.9.2 and simplepress 4.2.

Was kinda hoping Mr Papa could jump in on this as I was talking about with him previously.

No idea. Did you change theme or theme components when you moved up to 3.0 ?

have you checked that the $comment object has a value?
