Is upload of word docs function available yet?

We have installed forum (which is awesome) but client needs to be able to upload word docs etc. in the post/topic area

Please let me know soonest

Could you stick with the one topic please? Posting multiple topics with the same question is not going to get a speedier answer.

Optional uploading of files has been in since 4.1.
Set the upload options in Forum > Components > Upload Options.
Load the tinyMCE editor – write your link text and click on the Links toolbar button

I would seriously recommend setting file size limits, personal folders and encouraging the use of subfolders for storage.
