Nothing comes up when I restrict the console to just Javascript Errors.

actually, I prefere js errors, js warnings, show XMLHttpRequests and show stack trace…

at this point, maybe you can just shoot us a temp wp admin account that can access spf via PM and let us give it a try and see whats up…

Thanks for the help so far, I'm gonna stick with WP 2.6.2 right now, I'll bump this topic in the future when I'm ready to upgrade everything if that's ok?

I ran across another random problem where a few plugins were causing the 'Authors & Users" page to go half white and cover the admin left bar…but when I activate each plugin by itself the users page shows up fine, but if I activate 3 or 4 plugins at once and deactivate them 1 by 1 the admin side bar slowly reveals itself. Like the 'Appearance' bar will be covered, then when I deactivate another plugin I'll be able to see 'Appearance' and maybe some of 'Plugins'

 Yell

okay. sure you already know wp 2.6 has several security holes in it as its quite old.

also when wp 3.0 releases in mid May, we will be releasing spf 4.3 and requiring/supporting wp 3.0 due to the amount of changes…

Well it was a stupid memory limit problem! I did the following:

1. php_value memory_limit 256M TO .htaccess file (had to add this one)

2. memory_limit = 256M TO php.ini file (adjusted this one)

3. define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M'); TO WP-Config (had to add this one)

Now my 'Authors & Users' page shows up fine with all plugins activated and I was able to upgrade the forum to the latest version. Is it ok to leave these memory values this high?

1 thing to save me a lot of time going through the files.

On the Topics pages theres the topic links and a dotted line and then blank space, I figure this is for the tags, pagination, status. I removed all of that from the options but the space is still below each topic link.

How do I get rid of the extra space? Or minimize the height of it so it's not such a big blank space.

Just visited the site – looks good to me. Have you resolved this to your satisfaction?

It's http://www.rockitmembers.us/sf-forum/ I'm running 2.9.2 on, not my .com.

Now I just need to know how to get rid of that extra space below the topic links and I'm all set!

Also, is there any way to allow hyperlinked images in signatures? Instead of just the url to the image? Kinda pointless if the sig image can't be clicked so it goes to the member's website.

Well you can obviously try removing the code but I have no idea how it will behave.

Find the file simple-forum/forum/sf-forum-components.php

Find the function sf_render_topic_entry_row()

Find the comment – # Topic Tags and Topic Status

And comment out the whole of the following 'if' block.

See what happens…
