I defined guests and members in the group as well in the forum with 'Limited access'.
But if I add a new Topic it appears immediately, but I want to have the topics validated (moderated) by moderators beforehand.
What am I doing wrong
Change the permission settings in the 'Limited Access' group. It sounds like you have it set to 'Bypass Post Moderation'. Like WP and comments you can enforce moderation on all posts or just the first that a user makes.

However Can bypass post moderation and Can mypass post moderation once is disabled for the Limited Access permission Set.
Only Can view forum, can start new topics, can replay to topics, can edit own posts until reply, can view member profiles, can report posts
are checked in the first 2 columns of the Permission Set actions screen
Sounds right. So you can confirm that you have had guests post from this usergroup and their post has NOT gone into moderation? This is not an issue we have had…

Hi again,
yes , I have to confirm.
I connected as Guest, and added a new Topic.
I then connect, with another browser again as Guest, and I see the Topic.
However, When I click on it, I see the content :
Post Awaiting Approval By Forum Administrator;
yes… when posts are held in moderation, other users will see there is a post waiting for approval, but will not be shown the content… that is correct operation…
it has to do with how sort order works in SPF… for performance reasons, we sort by post id, not date (HUGE gains)… so that post will show up where it is when made… if we hid the moderated post completely from view, if a user posted and it didnt need moderation, then when the other post was approved, it would still appear before the post that came after it…
we have a ticket open to consider changing how moderated posts display work, but its major surgery on the existing logic, so havent considered it yet…

I have another problem.
Neither as moderator, nor as admin, I am able to delete posts hold for moderation.
When I log in, i see that I have posts awaiting for moderation, but when I open them, I have 3 options to Mark the post Approved, but non to refuse, reject etc.

Are you saying you can not do this when logged in as a FORUM admin? (As opposed to a WP admin)

what are you looking at for moderation? you can use the admin bar of the admin tools… both are explained in our wiki…
Ok,
so here is a more detailes explanation of my problem:
When I enter the site admin of WP and go to the SPF Manage Admins page i see that:
1) i display the admin bar
2) the admin bar is fixed at top and
3) I receive email notifications on new Topic/Post
Then i switch to the forum, and on the top of the screen i See a red sqaure with 0, and a blue one with 2
I click on the blue one (awaiting approval), and see the Management View of new/unread posts, with 2 topics.
I click on the open button of each of the topics, and then I see the content of that topic, an sqaure with 'Awaiting moderation' in it, and at the bottom of that subwindow, I see
Mark this Post approved and go to topic
Mark this post Approved and close
Mark this post Approved and quick reply.
Shouldn't I see something like, reject or refuse that post ?
