Good question. I actually have no idea how Google handles searches of this nature. Do you know? If so please explain or else I will have to go off researching.

depends… it Google is indexing your forum, if you google something it will show up… if you mean you are using some sort of embeded google search, then it wont currently search the forum because of how WP handles searcing – it doesnt know about dynamic page handling.
however, the WP folks are promising us enhanced searching api in the very near future (think 3.1) which could potentially make this possible…. will have to wait and see…

LOL i started a question and i got even more questions…
Hmm let's see, Simple Press do create sitemap or something right? if we tell Google to search just in that sitemap the problem could be solved… is the sitemap accessible somehow?
simple:press fully integrates with the google xml sitemap plugin from Arne Brachhold and adds all the forums and topics into that sitemap.
Steve… this is version 4.0 – at least the topic was posted in 4.0
I think this direct support came later didn't it?

Ok i uodated the forum, do i have to download a plugin to make that?
