while when setting zero, I meant the full URL shoul be displayed, like

So as I see, when I am trying to set up NOT TO shorten URLs at all, it still inserts multi-dots into the URL string while keeping all URL symbols.

What am I doing wrong? How do I have an URL to be left intact (with no milti-dots) but still clickable?

You know I found this out for myself not too long after that discussion. Apologies for that.
Version 4.2 WILL honour a setting of zero which will bypass the filter.
What WILL work in pre 4.2 systems is putting a really large values in – try it with 1000 for example – that should do the trick and when you eventually upgrade to 4.2 put it back to zero as that will save the processing time.
