You don't have permission problem

Hello,

I'm running the version 4.0.3 of the forum on http://www.nieuczciwyhodowca.pl – and I cannot access any administrative functions within forum (via wp admin panel) it simply says: You don't have permission to acess this site.

When I'm logged in as a forum user the administration works ok, but not in the wp admin panel.

This probably have happened when I changed administrator's email or name (can't remember).

Is there a way to fix it? Maby it's possible to set the right permissions directly in the database?

It really says: "You don't have permission to access this site"? Only this is not an SP message… Can you confirm this?

4.0.3??  which version of WP?  I think you have to have wp 2.7 to run that older version…

Hello,

I'm using wp 2.8.4, and the message seems to be from WP :(

what is even more weird I have acces to the first site (SPF Manage Forums) which is located under

?page=simple-forum/admin/sf-adminforums.php

but not to the any other site (form the forum management).

The message says simply: you don't have permission to acces this site – (original: "Nie posiadasz wystarczających uprawnień, by wejść na tę stronę." :) ).

Thanks for your help!

Ah – Wp 2.8.4 changed the way in which admin menus were checked for permission to use them. I am unsure now which version of SP we had t put out because of that but my guess is that yours is too old.

I thought that upgrade could be avoided – but anyway, is it possible to update the forum in this situation?

If you want to stay with that version of WP I believe you will need an SP 4.1.3.
4.2.0 needed WP 2.9
You can download 4.1.3 here:
