There has been no update to the Reboot theme since we took over Simple:Press so that should not be the issue.

I'll need to install that on our dev site, since I'm not going to switch on our live forum.

If there are any template changes in the reboot theme please advise. These used to get documented with each update...though I'm not even sure when Reboot was last updated.

What Simple:Press theme are you using and what WP theme are you using?

We have had a quick look at it. It is somehow connected to the forum theme. Could you try using the Modern 2020 just to verify that it works for you when using that theme.

It depends on what you are trying to do. From what your are writing it sounds like you want to set up o local testing or development server? If that is the case we would strongly recommend you to do a full database dump on your live server and import it locally. When that has been done you need to use a plugin like "Better search and replace" or WP CLI to search and replace the hard coded urls to your live server and change them to whatever your local development setup is called.

Is it possible to migrate existing forums?

I tried by exporting all the "sf" tables (such as wp_sfposts, wp_sfoptions, etc) and then imported it to local database for testing but it doesn't seem to work. The forum page loads but it doesn't show any forum content. And also there are no errors logged.

I discovered that special rank badges and user group badges are not displaying for our Forum Admin users.

Am I missing a setting/option somewhere that controls display of badges for specific users?

If not, I need some help troubleshooting why these badges don't show in Topic view. The users are assigned to the groups and ranks, and the badges do show in the Members listing and on their profiles. Please see attached images for detail. Here is an example topic shown in the screenshot.

Our Forum needs are reasonably complex and I feel that Simple:Press will meet them perfectly but we could do with some configuration support (consultancy). Is this something the Simple:Press team can offer?

I think your issue might have to do with permissions. Could you please verify the following.

• Does the usergroup that your forum users belong to have the permission "Can vote in a forum poll within a post" setting activated?
• Go to the "Forum details" under "Manage Groups and Forums" and click the "pen" for the forum in question and verify that "Enable polls on this forum" is checked. (This is probably already checked otherwise you shouldn't be able to add polls)

Is the post containing the poll a reply or the first post in the forum?

Feature has been enabled and I can see how to create a Poll within the new topic but when the poll is saved, the screen simply shows the Poll ID rather than displaying the question with it's possible answers.

When I look in the WP-Admin/Forum area under Polls and Manage Polls, I can see the Poll listed as active.

Is there a way to add an active Poll into a post or thoughts on why the post doesn't display the Poll at the time of creating the post?

We are running v6.10.5 of Simple:Press.
