I just installed the Member Manager today on my site and am having many 521 errors when attempting to set it all up. I also purchased the Silver Bundle for the SimplePress Forum Plugin and am having similar issues. Anyone else having these issues? Worried the company is going out of business.

Hi:

Are you seeing the 521 errors on your site or our site?  I assume its your site where you're seeing the error?

Do you have any other plugins enabled that might be conflicting?

Does it happen as soon as you activate the plugin(s)?

Thanks.

This does not happen as soon as I activate the plugin. When I attempt to navigate within the plugin to adjust settings and such with clicking on the menu buttons for the plugin, two-thirds of the time, upon clicking on one of the Menu Items in the Member Management Plugin or the Forum plugin, the 521 errors show up.

I have other plugins, but only the Member Management and the Forum plugins from Simple Press.

Should I attempt to uninstall and reinstall these two plugins? Do you think that might work?

Thanks.

And these errors continue to happen today?  Can you post a screen shot of the error - need to see what sites its referencing.

What happens if you disable other plugins beside the simple:press ones?  Do the errors go away?  It could be a conflict with another plugin so this is a quick way to check for that (as you probably know, plugin conflicts are a common thing in WordPress).  Just make sure you make a backup of your site before disabling the other plugins - just in case.

What kind of host do you have?  Can you provide the host name and the plan you're on?  (Just need to make sure its not a budget "5.00 per month" type plan where they put a ton of sites on the same server).

Thanks.
