Hi there:
Just bought and installed SPMM - all was going swimmingly as an Admin but when users log into the site, they are immediately redirected to their Profile page and they are unable to get back to the home page - clicking on the logo or entering the main site address results in a redirection like:
https://test.mysite.com/user/u.....ysite.com/
Deactivating SPMM restores normal operation so it's definitely a SPMM thing.
Did I click a clicky box that I shouldn't have?
Regards,
Gord
Hello:
Can you go to MEMBER MANAGER->USER ROLES and check the role for that user? There should be an option on whether the home page can be viewed about halfway down the page. If that option is already checked, just click the save button to force it to re-save and see if that helps.
Thanks!

I unclicked it earlier to see if it had any effect and none. I went into the user and reclicked it, updated the role and nothing changed.
Hi:
The closest I've come to reproducing this issue is when a plugin like WooCommerce adds a new role to the system. Then, I have go to that new role and make sure that checkbox is turned on for the role. If not, then the home page will redirect to the profile for logged in users.
So, if you're sure that the item is checked in the ROLES screen, then I have to assume that SPMM is conflicting with another plugin? What else do you have installed? Can you try disabling them while leaving SPMM enabled and see what happens then?
Thanks.
I went through the plugins and disabled everything except SPMM, same behaviour. I thought perhaps some leftover roles from a previous install of bbPress (now deleted) was the problem so I deleted those (bit of a journey) and no dice. The behaviour stays the same - I've also noticed that logging out results in a blank page versus returning the user to the home page.
Running out of ideas.
Hi:
hmmm...lets log into your site and take a look. Can you open a private ticket and reference this thread in it. We'll then let you know how to provide us with the credentials for the site.
Thanks.
