There is some checking in place. For example, if you make a post and the page reloads with it saved and you then refresh the page it wont save it again. I could probably extend that. Are you seeing duplicates?

The hazards of doing a quick post while the kids are going bonkers, so the post was too vague and confusing :)

 

I'll try to explain better.  I've seen on other forum systems a neat feature that must use ajax or something that checks the current thread when you hit the submit button of a post you are replying to.  It will warn you that a new reply has been made during the time you authored your reply.  It shows you the text of the new reply and gives you a chance to edit your post before really submitting.  This can be handy so you don't feel silly answering a question that may of been answered while you were typing.
