Hello,

I read about installing and integration, I made a new page for the simple press forum and updated permalinks and Integration. Forum still doesn't show, is there something that I am missing or not doing, I went through every option. I did some research to check for this problem but only found one post un answered. Thank you for ne help or info on this.

try going to forum – wp integration – page and permalink and make sure you have the correct page for the forum to display on selected…

Yeah I did that, probably about 3 times. I just even tried to install simple press on my other blog and it worked fine.  Showed up and everything. So Would it be because the area the forum is suppose to be shown is to small

this is a link to the page it should show on.

I do see an error in the footer:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/cgeiler/public_html/wp-content/themes/medicues/footer.php on line 11

yeah that error has nothing to do with the forum not showing it is a bad link issue I am not worried about it it was there before I installed the forum.

that link on the previous post was not the link for the site that worked it was a link for the site that didn't show the forum so, of course there was no forum that is my problem.  the forum on http://medicues.com/health-talk/ doesn't show.  If that clears things up.

My question was

Does Simple press need a certain amount of space to be shown?

Because Simple press works on an install (<—works here)  I just did but not on that link I provided.

sorry for confusing you I am just as confused why it is not working.

certain amount of space? do you mean page width/height?? no and yes… no, not really… it will fit in whatever space is allocated… but yes, if the width is not enough, it will look quite strnage… but it will display…

is that page actually published?

Yeah it's published. I guess I'll uninstall and re install but if that doesn't work do you have any more suggestions? Thanks again for the support.

is that a diff theme than the one that works?

you could try commenting out line 29 in sf-loader-forum.php and see if that does anything

// if($CONTENTLOADED) return $content;

also, make sure this wp theme has wp_head() in the header.php file and also has the_content() in your page template being used for the forum…

Okay so I commented out that line and it showed instantly. What does that mean if anything?  ANd is that line important for any thing in the future?

Thanks for your guidance and support.
