At Last Beta 1 Is Available

It’s been a long time brewing and we are not quite there with a final ‘Gold’ release but we have put the first beta of Simple:Press Forum Version 4.0.0 up for download. Many months and some 250+ tickets have come together and we hope you like the result.

If you feel able to help us make this release as rugged and problem free as possible then please do consider giving the beta a tryout – but remember that it IS beta and at the very least make a full database backup before activation.

At this point in time we still have one or two outstanding issues with WordPress MU and we caution any MU users to wait a little longer while we try and resolve these. Not all of the skins are finalised and we still have a new set of icons to deliver – but V4 is feature finished and ready for the outside world.

If you do take the plunge please report any problems on the specially created V4 Beta 1 support forum. And if you do not have any problems – well – please let us know that as well!
