Let your Users Tag other Users in Forum Posts
The Mentions plugin lets you and your community detect and tag users in Twitter style @name mentions. Simply use the ‘@’ character, start typing a username and the list will auto populate with matches. Once posted, the mentioned user can be notified via either forum notice, email notification or private message if running the private messaging plugin.

Also included is a template tag for displaying the latest mentioned members, along with all the documentation you will need to get it up and running.
Mentions can be used with all of our editors but requires our TinyMCE Rich Text Editor to enable the use of the autocomplete feature.
