Topic ID Permalink
Swap the Topic Name for the Topic ID as the Permalink
If you are one of those people who do not like lengthy and difficult to type URLs and prefer the simple permalink of a forum’s Topic ID then this is the plugin you need.
Simply install and activate and from that point on all of your topics will use the ID instead of the name. No settings. No options.
Note that the new permalink style only applies to NEW topics – your existing topic permalinks will remain the same!
Your permalinks will go:
- From this: https://www.yourdomain.com/forum/pre-sales-questions/resetting-my-password/
- To this: https://www.yourdomain.com/forum/pre-sales-questions/123/
Notice the numbers in bold in place of the character string!
