Hi there! I'm trying to resolve some issues on site.  This file can't be found:

 = wp-content/plugins/simplepress/sp-startup/sp-load-class-polylang_pro.php

There are numerous calls for it. Any clues how to resolve this?

Thanks!

Hi:

That's strange - that file name is not part of Simple:Press.  i.e.: We do not have a file named sp-load-class-polylang_pro.php anywhere in Simple:Press.

When did this error start to appear?  Where does it render this message - in the debug.log file or on the screen?

One thing to try might be to manually re-upload the core simple-press files to the plugins/simplepress folder (using ftp).  Or you can try deactivating and deleting it from the plugins page (do not use the uninstall link) and then reinstalling and reactivating.  In either case, make sure you take a full backup first.

Thanks.

That file is not one of ours.  So unless someone modified the plugin to add the file, your best bet is to reupload all the plugin files using one of the two methods I mentioned in the prior reply.

Happy New Year!
You've made the best possible start to my 2022!

I had an almost identical issue when I saw a similar warning when attempting to update to version 6.6.4 from version 5.7.5.3. No way could I access the Forum.

I followed your advice and it worked like a dream!

Thank you so much smile
