Not sure what happened, but I noticed the Featured plugin for the forum, so I downloaded, then uploaded the .zip file within the forum plugin uploader. And boom.
Gone…

never mind. I went in via my Control Panel at the server and deleted the Featured plugin there, in the sp-resources/forumplugins folder and deleted folder.

Is it possible that you used the wrong version? There are two versions for most plugins – one for version 5 of Simple:Press and one for version 6. Both versions should be available to be downloaded from your account. But if you you uploaded the version 6 one while you are running version 5 of Simple:Press (or vice versa) you would likely encounter the situation you described.
