The error message includes a suggested action.  Have you tried that?

Hi:

It looks like you're not logged in as a simple:press administrator.  Not all WordPress Admins are Simple:Press admins.  So you need to login as a Simple:Press admin (usually this is the WordPress admin that did the initial Simple:Press forums installation) then all the menu options will show up.

Hi,

 

When you access the STSW forum, it does not show the heart with the plus for subscriptions, nor does it show the heart with the minus to remove a subscription (see second image, forum unable to subscribe). How to activate the heartbeat icon?
