so I dont see where you changed any permissions per that codex article I gave you… for example, on you forum traffic strategies, these are your permissions

so you are giving Members standard access to your forum… and you have standard access set up to allow viewing and such in the forum…

if you want them to have no access, as I said, give them the no access permission…

so i did that and regular users still have access to the forum

seems you have removed the access, so I cannot see what you did…
