Don't really know where to put this so here will have to do.

The V4 PO file is starting to get a little out of hand. It contains a massive 1309 text strings which probably explains why a few translators who have helped in the past have now jumped ship. It is a big and very time consuming undertaking.

There are many, many 'near' dulicates and large nunbers of text strngs could have been re-used in new developments to save this enormous growth. OK – it is always going to be big but we should be trying to minimse it wherever possible and make the re-use of existing strings when they do meet the requirements a priority.

In an ideal world we would have a team member responsible for this file and for other documentation and help but as we don't we really should be cognisant of the workload of translators as it is them, to be fair, who give the plugin international appeal.
