Apologies

Sorry for my absence, it's really hard to find time to fit everything in especially in the busy summer months at work. Even more so when I need to keep my own site regularly updated.

I have good intentions but on their own they aren't enough. I am working today and all day tomorrow, but I'll see what I can do on Sunday with regards to updating images etc.. to the latest version.

Hey James. Life and family comes first. Work next. Fun needs to be in there as well. Steve and I are just grateful when you are able to make an appearance, no matter how brief, and help us out.

Anyway – I would assume down where you are the summer/problem-with-post-edit-buttonoliday months must be the lucrative ones. Pop by whenever you can and we will greatly appreciate it. Did you want to get involved in coding by the way?

Actually Christmas is our busiest period during the Panto season. We make more money in those 6 weeks than we do for pretty much the rest of the year. Having said that we have far more shows during the summer, panto is just one show that runs and runs Smile

For example, just this week alone I’ve worked on four different shows. We’ve got “The Sound Of Music” playing at the Congress Theatre, a play called “Two Sisters” at the Devonshire Park, “Hooked On Laughter” at the Royal Hippodrome and tonight I did a charity show at the Hippodrome for “Starlight”. Tomorrow it’s back to work on “The Sound Of Music” again! Sunday is my only day off, and there’s a Grand Prix on, lol…

But then we have more big shows on the way including “Oklahoma” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” as well as “Calendar Girls”. Those are just the really big ones, we have dozens more one-nighters like “Ken Dodd”, “Jimmy Carr”, “Des O’Conor”, even then that’s only a small selection!

As for getting invloved with the coding, it’s something I’d really love to get back into, I’m just very aware that my time is so limited during the summer. I’d hate to agree to do something and then let you guys down. If there’s some way it can be arranged that I won’t cause problems if I can’t do it then it would be great to have another crack. I used to be quite good at it…. well, so my BSc (hons) 2.1 in Software Engineering would have me belive, I didn’t quite manage a 1st…. Think I was too busy working at the theatre at the time Wink

echoing Andy's 'dont worry – life comes first' mantra… without a doubt…  I too am going to get slammed at work for next couple of months…  we are definitely most happy with whatever you can do to help whenever you can…

as to coding, we can certainly carve out some tickets/changes that wont affect the stuff we are doing… timing might be good too as we will be tearing up things quite a bit in 5.0.0 initially…

Maybe we can save you a small plugin or two to cut your SP teeth on later in the year Smile
