footer javascript conflict

will open a ticket for research on this too…

been reading quite a bit lately both on wordpress and website generally that moving the javascript from the head tags to the footer (wp_footer() in particular for wp) can increase page load times…

there is a plugin, footer javascriptr, that does this for wp.  however, SPF does not work with it.  maybe it can't don't know.  Have come across two sites that tried to run SPF with it.  Worth noting that the author, Vladimir Prevolac, who frequents our support forum, has SPF loaded on his site, but does not appear to be running his own footer javascript plugin.

He also has an article on what he calls proper WP loading of javascript.  Might be worth checking out.  Might be red herring too.

Thoughts?

Of particular note; He does not support the plugin himself in his own copy of SPF which he is using as a Tech Support forum, broken up into Plugins and Themes groups with a forum for each plugin or theme.

I think therein lies an important clue.

javascript in the footer is going to be the norm with wp 2.8…   we may want to get a jump on it…
