This has had a chequered life. Once upon a time it was sent in HTML format and then it switched to Plain Text format with any HTML stripped out. The problem is that not everything get's stripped out using the kses library. So – html entities remain as do non-breaking space codes etc. Which tends to leave the plain text email in a bit of a mess.

Does anyone have any objections to turning it back into HTML format?

I personally like full HTML control over the out going emails.

Most admins who are savy enough to successfully run wordpress enough to be able to use SPF are going to recognize HTML formatting and customize it accordingly.

I don’t see HTML being an issue.

Yay! No Math Test!

Issue on HTML formatting. Houston, we have a problem.

notices from this forum (mu topic) where I am subscribed has a broken HTML <a href tag in place of the title.

It simply looks like you tried to hyperlink the title to the topic, in a plain text email. Either you forgot the HTML formatting on the content of the outgoing e-mail, or you forgot that the send option was plain text and formatted this one link. Should be an easy fix either way

Thanks for this Radio. I pulled the changes for beta 2 while I tried to work out the problem. I was not getting them at all!
