Let me just throw this in. OK – I am being whimsical. Well a little whimsical.

How about for V5 we state minimum requirements as php 5 and MySQL 5 ?

Think of MySQL 5…. triggers, stored procedures, views…….

agree 100%…  okay, maybe 80 or 90%…  would love to do it, but wonder what percent of our user base is in mysql 4.x…  fully support the php move though…

and also think we should up to wp 2.9 or more likely wp 3.0 depending on what the future holds…  3.0 is rumored to be the wpmu/wp joining… also worried about what they do to roles/caps in 2.9…

I don't see wpmu/wp joining any closer than they already are.

V5 only on 5-5 … a nice symetry….
