What's the latest status on wpmu and installing/upgrading with v4.0.0?
On our wpmu test site, I have spent countless hours and many dozens of installs/upgrades with spf v3 and v4 as site admin, blog admin and spf admin and just cant get any errors or any failures.
This is with wpmu 2.6.3 as its the only version I have.
I think I sent you the wpmu site info a while back…
Not sure what more we can do here…
some small issues arise with different hosting options (memory requirements for example should be higher than 32M under WPMU)
and there are some different permalink issues on sub-folder v sub-domain WPMU builds when upgraded and the previous build was marked as home page.
other than those minor and workable differences, wpmu + spf are production ready…
Note… I just updated to v401 and got an error on update… Permission Denied – Upgrade Halted… but the upgrade worked ?? Forums are now v401 and no further upgrade is required on ONE of my installs.
Havent done any others, but I'm guessing that this has something to do with Site Admin v Blog Admin in the permissions thingy.
Mostly sounds good. Did it really say ‘Permission Denied’? I ask simply because we do not use that term anywhere and I am wondering of this all our own message?
