any thoughts on what to put in the code footer? four columns there…
the left column is good, I think… but categories and pages dont make much sense… and latest news is a wide column but no plans to post news or blog articles on the codex… so last column could display latest blog posts on support site (btw, we need to get back to posting there) or even latest forum posts…
other thoughts?
If you get rid of pages/categories there is a lot of extra space but can’t think of anything else at the moment, think the main navigation at the top covers it all…

I like the blue area at the bottom, so want something down there… we dont have to have four columns either…
Maybe a column of latest codex updates or posts.
And/or a column to promote & ask for help with codex.
Something lilke.

the far right column already is a list of the latest posts, but we dont/wont have any posts on this site… all the codex, information and faqs are custom post types which is why they dont show up… I like the idea of showing those particular custom post types in the recent area…
not a bad idea on the contributor list… have to see if that can easily be done or if we need to write a plugin…
latest codex updates (information, faq and codex custom post types) displayed in footer…
contributing authors list (minus Andy and I) listed with link to their profile url also added…
now just need something else for categories…
