Adding Pinterest to Profile > Identities

We’re using Simple Press on our e-course site where we teach blogging related topics to creatives. Our students have inquired about the possibility of adding a Pinterest filed to the Identities under their profiles, which I am passing on. Pinterest has become the standard visual bookmarking site for most creatives, designer, bloggers, etc. hence it would be great to have that option added in a future release.

you can do this with the Add Identities plugin for SP…

Thank you, I did not notice that plug-in (must’ve looked right past it).

However, after installing and adding a Pinterest icon (PNG file) and base URL (http://pinterest.com/) I can’t get to work. The field shows up under Profile > Identities. I can enter the username and save it but it doesn’t actually show up in the forum. Wondering what I could be missing? It seems to be straight forward otherwise.

I did not see the codex for this particular plug-in, no. Thanks for pointing me to it. All set now! Students will be happy.
