Forum/Category Subscription Option

This has probably been requested before but an option to subscribe to a whole forum, rather than just a topic, would be great. I know users can subscribe to a forum via RSS but for a lot of people that would involve another step of setting up Google Reader or similar.

Subscribing to forums was put in place in the last Subscriptions plugin update and SP 5.2. Users can do this from their user profile. There is also a template tag to enable a button to be added to the forum view page. This is documented here: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/plugins/our-plugins/available-plugins/subscriptions/

Wahay, that’s great, how did I not spot that.

This is going to sound like a daft question… but where does the template tag go to make the subscribe button appear? I tried adding it to the theme template spGroupView alongside the RSS button but it doesn’t appear.
