Is there anyway to use simplepress with tapatalk?

The biggest downside of us converting from mingle to bbpress first was I showed my members the tapatalk integration, which my members really liked because they could post pics directly from their phone, I would like to be able to provide that service, but I see that tapatalk doesn’t have a solution, is this even possible? It’s not a deal breaker for me, personally I wasn’t that impressed with tapatalk, but my members did like the ability to upload pics from their phone, thank-you

As I understand it I believe the Tapatalk people have to make the first move.

but – I can upload images to the forum from my iPhone using our file uploader plugin. Of course we also use the Unified mobile responsive theme for SP here as well.

I’ve been playing with the theme, I like it a lot, but I can’t seem to find a log in link on it?

thats unified with the In the Money overlay, right?  Just tested and its working right…  there should be an action menu right next to the new/updated topics menu…  see image below:

any chance its there and just not visible for some reason?  Also, if you run the unified on desktop, do you see it then?

have you modified the theme or overlay at all?

yep, it’s a theme issue, I switched to twenty fourteen and it worked well, I think there’s a plugin that you can use to manage themes for mobile devices, I will have to look for it, now I just need to figure out how to use the uploader from a phone

I’m sorry, I was testing the any mobile theme switcher plugin which allows you to change themes for mobile devices, I had it on twenty fourteen, I’ll switch them back so you can see, it works, my only concern is we host on wp-engine and use cloudflare, using this plugin, I’m worried someone would get served a mobile cache version to the desk top

I have no personal experience of cloudflare. I have witnessed sites using it that misbehave terribly and get really screwed up until the usage is stopped. On the other hand – there may well be hundreds out there that are using it with no bother.

As a general rule, of course, forum data is not static like a normal, default WordPress website. The data is not only changing all of the time but is served differently to each and every user so traditional WordPress type page caches will not work and the SP page had to be excluded from them.

we have the forum bypassed for caching, turns out the theme was the culprit, I found a similar theme today that works well with the mobile theme now, so I spent all afternoon laying it out, thanks for your help gentleman
