bbpress?  sorry, but that’s not minimalist or forumy looking… ;)

of have you been to http://demo.simple-press.com?  and tried the minimalist overlay there?  its coming in 5.3 any day now…  you can select the overlay at the bottom in the forum footer….

minor updates to 5.3 themes… but they will have the new minimalist overlay (for themes that have overlays)…

5.3.1 will feature the new mobile responsive theme…

Hi Nicola!

Exactly what icons and arrows do you want to remove?

You can change the icons inside the SP admin and you can edit the images and change for other images of your like inside the theme images folder….

yeah, not sure what you mean by arrows…  and by icons, do you mean the ones in buttons or ones next to groups/forums/topics/etc, or others…

for buttons, you can add the argument for each template function used in the theme to remove the icon…  typically, its &icon= but may vary… see  http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/api/template-functions-and-the-api/display-template-functions/
