I want my site to have a guest login/view only option, a registration link/ form (which includes agreeing to TOS checkbox) and a member login/logout, linked/ integrated to my word press home and forum pages.

Is there a plugin or admin tool for this ?

Hey,

I'm not entirely understanding any of these requests I'm afraid, so maybe you could clarify?

I don't understand 'guest login/view'.. If a guest can login, then surely a guest is a member? Also using permissions you can decide if a guest can view a forum or not.

A registration link and member login and logout is already linked to your WP in the sense that SP doesn't have it's own user base, they are WP users, and thus they are logging in and out of your WP site already. You can completely remove the forum login and registration buttons, and instead use one from your WP theme.

If you are looking for a broad range of customisation options regarding this however, you might want to look into membership plugins.

Sorry If this is not helpful, but as I said, maybe you could clarify exactly what you mean by these requests?

I mean I want non members who visit the site to be only able to view the home page, its wigits and the forum, but are promoted to join, those wishing to join, need to register and agree to TOS. Members after registration do dot see register just  have login/log out.

Hope that helps, sorry English is not my first language.

No thats OK, your English is just fine..

We should probably start with permissions. I'm not sure if you have read or experimented with the usergroups and permissions, but basically they enable you to stop people or allow people to do things that you define. For example - if you want guests to have no access to the forum until they register, it's a simple case of ticking a few boxes and that usergroup will not have access.

Firstly take a look at this page. These are the codex search results when searching for 'usergroups'. On this page you will see various articles - specifically of interest are the articles 'Usergroups', 'User Access and Permissions' and 'How do I Allow People to Register on My Forum'

Also take a look at permissions

The information is all there which saves us typing it out again, so have a read and see if it answers your questions!

And again, shout if you need any further help.
