There was some discussion previously about possibly being able to use Tapatalk in V5.  Just checking to see if that has gone any further, hopefully?  Thanks!

I know I ask at one time about this too. But I would like to have this link pinned and have as many user from the simple press join in. There is a official request on the tapatalk forums for support for this. I try to just to stay active in the thread. I think if they see enough support they will start looking into support it. They just need to be to be aware how big the simple press community is.

Link is here. http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/.....port.1561/

interesting...  we have noted the interest in Tapatalk and have a ticket open, but not ETA... frankly, the first step for us would be to even understand what it is... and I dont mean anything by that, just have not used or heard of it other than these requests... and what it even does...  first step would be understanding what it brings to the table with SP...

Afraid not. We are really still formulating what our mobile plans are.

Just thought I'd add my two pence to this thread.

TapaTalk is a mobile application which allows users to add "forum accounts" from which they have basic forum functionality - post topics, reply to topics, read and reply to PMs.

It's a much better way of using forums for mobile users because it's so straightforward. No need to zoom in on the tiny buttons, for instance.

It's also a good marketing tool for forum users - TapaTalk add your forum to their database, so when users browse through for instance "sport" they might find your "table tennis" forum.

It currently supports vBulletin and IPB forum software, probably others. If Simple Press could get on board it'd really take this plugin to another level. Remember, too, that every time someone visits a Simple Press website, that's another potential customer for the forum software - "oh wow this forum is great".

Just to add my support for this, I use Tapatalk myself and would certainly love those who access my website to be able to do so.

so tapas talk has the support for those forums?  or vice versa?  asking because wondering who actually needs to add the support...

but it is on our list to take a look into...

I can also say that true mobile support for simple press will likely arrive before we look at tapas talk...  that should be this year if things go right... ;)
