Hi, i would like to test the simple:press forums before i buy stuff for it, but i can’t. I installed everythink without any problems, but when i go to the page where the forum should show up, it is just not there. I only see my default wordpress page layout without any content. So i know this is not the support forum, but i will not buy a membership since i could not even do a quick test if the forum will fit to my page. Any help?

So you named your forum page ‘intern’?Is that correct?

Go to the forum admin > Integration ? Page and Permalink. Is that set to use the correct page and if you update the permalink does that change anything?

Yes, i don’t want it to be named forum, so i changed it to intern. Permalinks and settings are correct 🙂 Updated the permalink, but still nothing.

You can not use cacheing on the forum page so exclude the forum page url in the appropriate caching options page, clear your browser cache ads well and then try it again.

I excluded the page from W3 Cache. i deleted the cache from WordPress and my Browser, i now used Chrome, Firefox and Egde – no one shows the forum.

If it were me I would do a temporary switch to use a default WordPress theme just to see if that solves the issue. Then we would know where to look.
But you could also have a play with the display options on the page and permalink admin page at the bottom. Like the strict use of the WP API. Or even bypassing the Wp head (for themes built with Gantry or other such frameworks).
