When I set an Automatic User Group Membership in the forum ranks section, it does nothing. I see it changes a person’s rank but they do not gain the permissions of the set user group and I can see that nothing changes in their sql row……Can anyone help?
Hey Spencer,
Have you looked at the help button associated with the ranks info? Just a hint – the text needs updating as the paragraph that mentions the checking of the ‘users being limited to a single user group’ option points to Forum > Options > Members, whereas it should point to the Forum > User Groups > Map Users to User Groups.
Have opened a ticket to get this fixed.
