Our previous forum was over run by “spammers” and those who posted – in the kindest words – garbage! So I eliminated the forum… now after a few months of no-forum I installed Simple Press and set it for current members “limited” and guests as “read-only”… HOW DO I LOG IN AS ADMINISTRATOR to set up the posts? When I go from the WordPress Admin page to the forum, I am signed is as a GUEST…. Can’t put anything into the forum!!

Hey Alan,
I’m really not sure I follow. If you set Simple Press up using your WP admin account, you can use the very same admin account to access the forum from the front end. I don’t see any reason why it should log you out but you can always log in again through the front end. Please make sure to have a read of the Getting Started guide located in the sidebar for further info.
