Hi,

I’ve been trying to change the language of my pluggin using the mo/po file (from the localization page directives).

But then, inside the Forum pluggin on WordPress (integration-language translation) when trying to install the language translation files, I get an error message ‘Install failed – or there is no available translation”

See screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/TRPwzIBbq9S

Do you have any idea why the download is not working and therefore why I can’t switch my simple press pluggin to french?

Thank you for your help

Best regards,

SM

hey SM,

I’d just like to point out that this is a pre purchase queries forum and is not for support questions.

Have you had a good read of the Localization Codex Page? All the important details are explained there.

For further help please open up a topic in our support forum.

Hi,

Yes I’ve been looking on that link too…that does not really help…

Please, could you give me the link of the support forum, and I’ll adress my questions there?

Thank You !

Well this IS the support forum. You can sign up for support just here: https://simple-press.com/store/memberships/

If the automatic import of localisation files fails then it is almost certainly an issue with server permissions and us being unable to write to your server via code.

And when that is the ase you do need to fall back to manual install as described in the codex page,
