I just installed Simple:Press and when I click on "tools" on a new post, the moderator toolbox is blank. I have tried on two different browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and cleared cache on both. Still a blank toolbox. The SP error log doesn't show anything.

Right now, there are no members, but eventually I will need moderators to have...well, moderation abilities. Any help with tracking down what's wrong will be greatly appreciated.

It is almost certainly a javascript conflict with one of your other WP theme or plugin components that is misbehaving. You need to check in the web console and look for errors that can be investigated.
