Is there a plugin that would allow me to block or show a captcha when a message is posted that contains a spam keyword? I would define a list of keywords (eg: viagra, financial services) and if one of these keywords is detected the user would need to enter a captcha.

We have nothing like that. I suspect you would find it rather tedious as well…
Our Admin Bar plugin can optionally use the Akismet service to check for spam posts and it makes it very easy for you to delete them quickly. Or our Captcha plugin will stop virtually all automated spam posts.
