Our website currently uses IP Board for it’s online forums – though the rest of our site uses WP. We would like to switch over to simple:press but after looking through all of the information, I’m not sure if we would be able to fully or even closely replicate what we have now with IPB.
I’ve looked through your add-on listing and see there are a number of features that are comparable, but I can’t really “see” what they look like in all cases, how they integrate, or how much customization we would be able to do on the admin side. I also don’t see a “chat” add-on. IPS is removing it’s chat feature in a future upgrade. It’s one reason why we are looking to migrate away from them, so I’m wondering if it is even possible to add on a chat feature to simple:press.
Is there a way to see or test any of your features before purchase and/or to see the back end of things to know how much we would be able to do what we need with it?
