It's a problem really. AMP relies on cached content - which is fine for static data - like a blog post for example.
But forum data is not static. It is very, very dynamic, with different data served up to every individual user. If this were not so then a forum would be pretty worthless and difficult to navigate. The WP AMP plugin from Automattic may well create the content needed but it will not necessarily be the right data for all users.

Hi there! Any update on this, three years later?
Specifically, can anyone tell me how to exclude my forum on my wordpress blog so that I don't get (google) errors?
Thanks!
Hi:
AMP integration isn't on our todo list at this time.
Have you tried adding the noindex tag to your forum page (made available by most seo plugins) and unchecking the "include this forum in sitemap" for all your forums? Excluding unprotected forums from search engines isn't something we've given much thought to. Usually when someone wants to exclude a forum, the forums are protected and require a login.
Thanks.
