my organization serves families of children with disabilities, and having a forum for parents to share stories, ask questions, share photos, etc is extremely important. We have a very active private group on Facebook. It has served us well over the past 7+ years; however, in light of recent revelations about Facebook privacy, etc., I’m leaning toward hosting a private forum on my organization’s WordPress website.

I’m looking for something that requires users to sign up and offers passwords and privacy. I fear that some people won’t make the leap away from our Facebook group because it is familiar and easily incorporates into their social media world; however, I’m concerned that changes could occur with the Facebook platform and I’d want to be ahead of the game yet not lose track of my 1700+ members who follow our private group.  Would Simple-Press be the answer, I’m looking for?
