Unread forum post will not be displayed on the user dashboard

I’ve recently upgraded to simple-press 5.7.2 and update all of plugin.

Users see only unread entries in front-end forum by flag.
User dashboard does not show the unread post As in the past?

I’m sorry for bad English language

We actually removed it for all except Admins which is what was supposed to happen but we had always missed the fact that it showed up for all. It really is an Admin tool and certainly was not subject to the usual and standard  permissions and checks.

It is probably unusual for anyone to allow their users to see the WP dashboard – most people seem desperate to disallow it! We could consider putting something back there but it would need fresh, new code to do so.
