I need to import forum data from yaf.net into Simple:Press. I see that there isn’t any built in support for this, so I’m trying to figure out what kind of help is available if I become a paying member. For example, would anyone be able to point me to a document that describes the tables and offers general advice for doing the import?
I don’t mind paying for a membership, but I hate to do this only to be told “we don’t have that kind of info-sorry”.

sorry, not familiar with yaf.net… I assume its another forum application… Is it able to export its data to another 3rd party format? one that might be supported by our importer plugin?
Another option would be to try the folks at: http://gconverters.com/
If yaf.net means yet another forum, they seem to be able to import/export from it and they can certainly do simple press… we are NOT affiliated with them in any way, but some folks have reported good success with them…
barring those, yes we have a db schema available and can provide you with guidance on how to do the import… Also, if you know the db schema for yaf.net, we could look at working up a custom quote for you on doing a basic import from the application…
