TripawdsLong time Simple:Press fanatic here, happy to report that the Tripawds Discussion Forums are sailing along smoothly with 5620+ topics and 77,570+ posts by more than 3,600 members with more joining every day.

Tripawds is the largest online community for three legged dogs and their people, and we are happy to have Simple:Press forums to share the stories, resources and support we offer those facing a canine cancer diagnosis or amputation for their dogs.

We’re running a slightly customized version of the default theme with the following plugins:

  • Admin Bar
  • Blog Post Linking
  • Editor (TinyMCE – Rich Text)
  • Private Message System
  • Profile Display Control
  • Subscriptions

Many thanks to the gang here for all the effort and pawesome support over the years! Keep up the good work.

PS: Consider this a bug report to update the Showcase Page which is currently throwing 404 errors when clicking any of the profiled sites. wink

whoops looks like a variable from the old theme didnt get updated in the new theme…  have to get that fixed…

when we get some time, we want to move the whole showcase over to 5.0 sites…

And 7900+ members, with 895+ blogs now hosted on the Tripawds multisite network.

We’re also now running various other SP plugins, with a customized Reboot child theme.

As of today, that is. Just feeling nostalgic after being a happy SimplePress user and member for more than seven years. We couldn’t have done it without all your hard work and support here. Thanks for the good help!

We’ve come a long way since my very first post here as a guest in 2008. And we now have the Tripawds 501c3 Foundation, ensuring that the forums, blogs and many other resources we offer people facing amputation for their pets will always remain online and free.
