A Chinese Site(hope the strange language won't bother you)

It's an Chinese economic research think tank's website.  It's work just fine so far, except for two things:

1. the registration procedure may make the potential users of our forum confused because after the registration they will be turned to a totally strange page shown the salmen fish login page, rather than turned them back to the forum.   The users will not know what to do next.   I think it's one of the  reasons make my forum users left.

2. Where to show the forum rank of the members? I designed a funny forum rank series for my forum but i can't find how to use it. The member's forum rank is shown at the post's member information panel in the 3.1.X version but I can't find it in the 4.0 version. How can I use it?

#1 may need a bit more info, but sounds like an issue we have corrected in the upcoming v4.0.1 bug fix release.  In the meantime, you can try the fix in this thread, post #11.

#2  do  you mean where do you admin the forum ranks?  If so, its the admin page ->  forum – components – forum rank tab where you set up the ranks and options.  If you mean where are the ranks displayed to users, its displayed along with the user avatar in the post.

1. I read the posts #11 but didn't figure out how to fix it. It's just too complicated to me….. tech stuff. Anyway I can wait for your v4.0.1. Laugh

2. I meant where to display. In my forum, it's just display the typical things like guest,member,moderator, but it's can't display my special designed rank series.

the Member, Moderator are ranks… you are likely one of the folks affected by a bug. See this thread for fix or wait for 4.0.1

Fixed the 2nd problem. Thank you.

And still wait for 4.0.1 to resolve the 1st problem.Cool
