Hello [Image Can Not Be Found]

Here I go. I have loaded up a WP forum, added some posts and planning some e-mail marketing to some of our readers

However everytime I look at the forum I start to go cross eyed. Essentially I am too close to the forum to use an objective eye.

If you have the time would you be  able to check out my forum and cast a critics eye over it

Have you got any suggestions to make it more engaging or exciting for property investors

see forum http://www.australian-real-est.....ing/forum/

FYI some background

I use wordpress 2.9.2, Simple Wordpress Forum and a Studio Press theme

Upgrade to 2.9.2 was simple, loading up Simple WP Forum was easy and my Studio Press theme works well

We now have about 450 pages of info for readers and lots of readers from Aust, USA, other developed countries,  and Asia

However can't seem to get the ball rolling with the forum from interested readers?  They visit the forum, have a look and then move on.

Not sure if it is the sign up process or member list being public (privacy issues) or other issues?  Is it the look and feel? Is it the Forum Terms of Use? Registration policy? Privacy policy?  Topics are too dry?  Needs more fun, bells and whistles?

Any ideas or suggestions?

Many thanks

John

Well i think it blends nicely into your site as far as the look goes and usng the default skin suits more narrow forums better so that al looks good to me.
Can not advise you on content or how to get a busy, thriving site but patience is key. I think the bottom line is that if you have something to offer and a place for people to discuss that then over time you will get the audience. So patience and content...
And I wish you the best with the venture.
maybe others can chime in...
