🙂  well, it wasn't all that hard to remove the sidebar and make the forum stretch all the way across the page – only like moving a mountain for a newbie like me – THANK YOU for your help, ryan, yellow swordfish & mr.papa!!! – and for the great documentation here – THANK YOU, WORDPRESS, for getting this forum plugin up to speed… it is VERY nice.  

so my forum is artistically simple – the default design – i like it.  may change it someday but right now it's just WONDERFUL that it's UP and full page and filled in a little.  i'd rather announce it now than later because i don't know if it will become too 'personal' for the members to want to share later.
