“the box at the top that can be closed?”
Going to need some help with this I’m afraid… what box?

its not a support request… but neon (where you been friend?) wanted to know how the custom box between the page title and the forum itself is done… there is an x on the right side that minimizes it…

Hi guys, been taking a little break from the forum work.. it's not easy to get a successful forum going! But now I'm back at it. You guys are inspiring and I thank you for being here and always keeping SimplePress up to date. It's nice to see a team you can count on to maintain the program over the years and not let it disolve.

Yes I was referring to that custom box that can be closed on the top of the http://placeshiftingenthusiasts.com/ site.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words.

yup.  you betcha!  you need 4.3 to be able to do that… if user has entered them (or myspace) in their profile, they will show… admin option of course to enable or disable that feature…  4.3 is currenlty in RC 1 and does reguire WP 3.0 (currently in RC 2)

Are you talking about the box that says “Hello there! If you are new here, we just want to remind you that there are several extremely knowledgeable members on our site that would love to discuss or help out on just about any topic. It's easy to post something here. Although we encourage registering it is not mandatory.” ?

If so that is from WP Greet Box, Show a different message to your visitor depending on which site they are coming from. For example, you can ask Digg visitors to Digg your post, Google visitors to subscribe to your RSS feed, and more! Best of all, this plugin is compatible with various WordPress cache plugins.
