Hey Guys,

Simplepress has come a long way and I’ve kept a tab on it’s development having using previous versions before and patiently waiting for Simplepress 5.

Customisations are few, tidbits here and there though I just wanted to show you guys how I’ve managed to put these guys great piece of work into my website.

That is looking pretty good. I prefer a slightly larger font but that may be just me. You gamers have better eyes than mine. smile

If you are SoulGamer you do need to check your profile identities (facebook, twitter, etc) the links are not correct.

matches your site nicely!  tend to agree font size a bit small for me, but starting to get up there in years…

Thanks for the compliments guys! I’ve brough it up with my theme developer and can hopefully address the font size (I do agree it is smaller than I like).

There’s more customisations I would like to bring to the forum, especially the site and forum integration for a better joined experience and also to let people know about our wonderful forum 😉

The base font size is inherited from your Wp theme. To change it edit the overlay file (if you are using an SP theme with overlays) where you will find the main font size is set to 100%. Change it up a bit for a bigger overall font size as standard.

thanks! Manged to increase the font size on my website now as well so let me know if its better for reading and viewing http://totalrevue.com

I’ve also increased the main font size to 120% though I think the ‘font resize’ plugin is conflicting with it. How do I set these parameters? I edited the site font using CSS in a separate area for modifications…?

what do you mean font size plugin conflicting?  parameters?  if you used it previously, you might try clearing the cookie it uses to remember your setting…

Hi there, spoke with my theme dev and just did CSS coding within the theme and it all works! Theme font is easier to read and so is the forum… tell me if you guys think it’s better 🙂

I like your site too. I just created a retro gaming site. I was wondering how do you drive traffic to your website?
