Support Forum
My Forum has crashed. I have been getting an "out of Memory" error message but found several variations of the following in the log:
19/04/2016 3:00 pm | spaErrError | 5 | database
file: /home/flatchat/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-press/forum/content/sp-common-view-functions.php
line: 3044
function: spdb_count
error: Table './flatchat_flatchat/flat_1sftrack' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM flat_1sftrack
How do I repair it?
You need to do what the message says and repair the table. You could probably do with a check and optimisation across the database as when it starts to fail like this it might well need a clean up. Sadly - so many people do not do this...
Your hosting probably bundles the phpMyAdmin application which will allow you to repair and optimise.
But there are also some WP plugins available that will not only do this for you but will also allow you to set up scheduled checks and optimisations in the background. Well worth doing for the health and performance of your database.
